HHTCC Bar: Covid-19 Measures
Message to HHTCC Members, 14th April 2021
It is with great pleasure that we can confirm the re-opening of Hemel Hempstead Town Cricket Club on Saturday 17th April.
The bar will be only be operating with an outdoor table service.
The Club will be open on 17th April from 10:00am to coincide with the working party and followed by the cricket which starts at 12:00pm
The cricket club bar facility will only be open if there is a cricket match being played during this 5 week period up until 17th May.
If the match is called off due to bad weather the club will remain closed. Future opening times will be published on our Facebook group and will be in-line with the start time of the cricket matches or notification if the club is closed.
The plan for re-opening the inside seating area within the pavilion is currently planned for the week commencing 17th May 2021, Government restrictions permitting. Confirmation will be communicated when the Government makes the announcement.
The current guidance from the Government which we strongly request that you follow:
- Tables can be made up of 2 family households/bubbles or a mixed table of 6 people. Customers should remain at their chosen table. Chairs should not be moved from allocated table areas. Social distancing should be followed at all times.
- Each table has a laminated set of COVID rules which must be followed, we kindly ask that you make yourself aware of the current rules.
- Each table has a QR Code, please scan this onto your NHS App, it is a Government requirement that every adult over 16, scans the QR Code at the arrival of the club.
- Each table has a number, drink orders are to be made using the text number service quoting the table number, drinks will be delivered to the table and on arrival payment will be made by card machine only.
- We kindly request that you remain seated whilst drinking, it is not permitted to walk around the ground with your drinks.
- Toilets – Please follow the one-way system inside the pavilion.
We would be very grateful if you would follow the rules and respect the bar staff during these challenging times but most of all have fun!
